The International Federation of Computer Law Associations is an international scientific association created in 1989.It contributes to the advancement of IT Law through 3 main missions:
- to create scientific exchanges about development and legal, economic and social impact of computer law et legal computer,
- to organize meetings and forums on these topics,
- to coordinate actions of its members with the European institutions and the other international organizations concerned by computer law and legal computer.
This is why the IFCLA, hosted by the French Association of Computer and Telecommunication Law (AFDIT), is organizing its eleventh international Conference. The last 6 editions have taken place in Brussels (1996), Oslo (1998), Paris (2000), Berlin (2002), Oxford (2004) and Amsterdam (2006) successful editions.
IFCLA's members are National Associations involved in a scientific thought about IT Law and Legal Computer. 13 National Associations are taking part of the active mission of the IFCLA: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
