Claire Bernier is the founding partner of ADSTO. With 20 years of experience in counselling and litigation, she has proven expertise in drafting and negotiating IT related contracts (cloud and Xaas, integration, SMAC, ERP, cybersecurity, global complex outsourcing projects) and web agreements (e-trading, mobile apps, platforms and websites). Claire has extensive experience in the field of data protection, being strongly involved in national and international compliance programs. She is highly experienced in civil, administrative and criminal litigation before the French Courts and other Specialized bodies (such as the CNIS – employees invention commission, or the CNIL – French Data Protection Authority). She has an in-depth knowledge in White-collar crime law including cybercrime (security breach, litigation relating to personal data, e-reputation, identity theft, trade secrets theft and counterfeiting). Claire regularly publishes in various high-selected reviews and gives lectures on these fields, being in charge of the on-going professional training of magistrates and lawyers on IT and cybercrime. In 2016, Claire graduated from the INHESJ (National Institute for Higher Studies on Security and Justice). She is highly recommended in all legal practitioners guides -and is recognized by her peers- for her comprehensive experience in IT, data protection, online issues, e-health, intellectual property, white-collar crime (particularly cybercrime) and cyber laws related issues such as cyber-insurance.
